- Manual monitoring: periodically querying ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity with standardized prompts and logging the results in a spreadsheet. Simple, but effective as a starting point.
- Monitoring platforms: tools such as Brandwatch, Mention and similar products are adding AI coverage. They are not perfect yet, but they are evolving fast.
- The AIs' APIs: for companies with technical capacity, it is possible to automate prompts via API and analyze the responses programmatically. This is the most scalable method.
