Organic ranking · Backed by Google for Startups
Your company on the first page of Google, with a plan to stay.
Getting to the first page is the visible part. The part that holds it up is the plan behind it: why you will get there, for which term, and what keeps the position after a competitor reacts. That plan is what Netlinks delivers.
We work in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Headquarters in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

01Overview
First page of Google
Reaching the first page of Google is not luck, nor a single technical tweak. It is the result of a set of decisions that stack up: site architecture, content that answers the right question, load speed, and a link profile that gives the domain confidence.
Netlinks works these fronts together, with the shortcuts we learned running SEO at Méliuz, Globo.com, Rock Content and LWSA, and more than 200 companies served since 2017. You track ranking climb term by term in the Netlinks App, with the timeline estimate presented from the first meeting.
The work does not stop once the page reaches the top spot. The competitor reacts, Google updates the algorithm, and a position with no maintenance drops within a few months. Staying on the first page takes the same care as getting there.
It is worth separating two kinds of win: showing up on the first page for any term, and showing up for the term your customer actually types before buying. Netlinks prioritizes the second, even when the first is easier to win quickly.

02Factors
What actually matters to reach the first page
There is a lot of myth about what Google uses to rank results. In practice, four factors carry most of the weight, and they are the same ones Netlinks attacks in order during the diagnosis:
- Content relevance: the page answers exactly the question the person asked, with real depth, not generic text wrapped around the keyword.
- Technical health: error-free crawling, correct indexing, Core Web Vitals within target, and stable URLs.
- Authority: links from other relevant sites pointing to yours, built with no risky shortcut.
- User experience: load speed, clear navigation, and no aggressive interstitial on mobile.
A site strong on one of these points and weak on the other three rarely reaches the first page for a competitive term. Netlinks' diagnosis measures all four together, with a number, before proposing any priority.
03Scope

Pages written to answer the question and convert. See content marketing.
Authority
A link profile built with an acquisition target and discipline. See authority.

Markup that helps Google understand exactly what the page offers.
Live reporting
Position, traffic and conversion in real time in the App.
04Timeline
How long it takes, by term type
The timeline depends on two numbers: the term's competitiveness and the site's technical state at the start. The table below is a reference, presented with the specific calculation for your case in the diagnosis.
| Term type | Competition | Typical timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Long-tail and technical fixes | Low to medium | 30 to 60 days for the first movement |
| Category or service term | Medium | 2 to 4 months |
| Head term, high competition | High | 1 quarter to 1 year, with ongoing maintenance |
05Diagnosis
Why well-maintained sites do not reach the first page
Many companies invest in design and content and stay off the first page anyway, because the problem was in neither. That is usually what the technical diagnosis reveals first.
Page not indexed
Google simply does not know the page exists, due to a crawl error or technical block.
Content too shallow
Answers the keyword but not the real question behind it.
A more authoritative competitor
The competing domain accumulated more relevant links over the years.
Speed below acceptable
A slow mobile page loses ranking even with good content.
06Maintenance
Getting there is one stage, staying is another
Every first-page position gets contested again, every month. The competitor publishes new content, Google adjusts the algorithm, and a site that stopped investing after getting there tends to drop within three to six months.
That is why Netlinks treats the first page as a cycle, not a one-time delivery: a monthly review of what competitors published, updates to old content, and ongoing position monitoring, all visible in the App.

07GEO
The first position also exists inside AI answers
More and more people ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity instead of typing into Google. These tools answer by citing sources, and being the cited source is the equivalent of the first position inside an AI answer.
This work enters the same Netlinks plan, with no separate contract. The full practice is in GEO.

08The deliverable
What you receive
Finished work, approved by you in the App and shipped. Not a report that only describes the problem.
Diagnosis with an estimated timeline
A time calculation per term, presented with volume and difficulty on the table.
Keyword map
Terms prioritized by real opportunity.
Published content and pages
Reviewed before going live, focused on a direct answer.
Live reporting in the App
Position, traffic and conversion 24 hours a day.
09Who leads
Who leads your project
The three of them own the process and manage the team on every account. No senior who shows up at kickoff and disappears: they sign off on the plan, review the work and talk to your team.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What does it take to reach the first page of Google?
A combination of relevant content, technical site health, domain authority and a good user experience. None of these factors alone gets it done.
How long does it take to reach the first page of Google?
It depends on the term's competition. Long-tail terms and technical fixes usually move ranking in 30 to 60 days. Head terms, with strong competition, are quarterly work and beyond.
Can you guarantee the top position?
Nobody guarantees a specific position, because the algorithm changes and competitors react. What Netlinks guarantees is the plan, the timeline calculation, and tracking until the result shows up.
Do I need to invest in Google Ads to show up on the first page?
No. The focus here is organic, with no cost per click. It can be combined with Ads to speed up short-term results, but it is not required.
Once I reach the first page, is the work done?
No. The position is contested every month by the competitor and by the algorithm. Without maintenance, it usually drops within three to six months.
Does this work for any industry?
Yes. Any industry with real search demand can reach the first page with the right strategy, from e-commerce to complex B2B services.
How do I track ranking progress?
Through the Netlinks App, with real-time updates on position, traffic and conversion, with no waiting for an end-of-month report.
My site has good content, why doesn't it show up on the first page yet?
It usually comes down to one of three reasons: the page is not correctly indexed, the domain's authority is still lower than the competitor's, or load speed is below acceptable. The diagnosis points to your specific case.
