01Overview
SEO agency
Hiring an SEO agency means hiring the team that puts your company in front of people already looking for what you sell: on Google, inside ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, on YouTube, and in the forums where the question shows up first. Netlinks has done that work since 2017, across more than 200 companies, generating over R$ 1 billion in sales for clients (estimated).
The model works like a retained advisory: you receive finished work. A mapped keyword becomes a page with a publish date, a technical error becomes a fix with a written spec, authority becomes a link and a story in a real outlet. Everything lands in your approval queue inside the Netlinks App, with rankings, traffic, AI citations and site speed updated 24 hours a day.
We work in English, Portuguese and Spanish, headquartered in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, with structure in London, Santiago and Panama City, and we are backed by Google for Startups. If you only need the decision layer, with a senior specialist guiding your own team, that is SEO consulting. If you want the whole operation running, this is the page.

02Definition
What an SEO agency actually does in 2026
An SEO agency is accountable for making your site show up, and get chosen, when someone looks for a solution like yours. In 2026 that stopped happening in a single place. The same person who types a query into Google opens ChatGPT for a recommendation, checks opinions on Reddit, watches a video on YouTube, and returns to search to compare prices.
That is why the work has six layers that have to move together. Leave one out and the others underperform:
- Demand. Finding the words your buyer actually uses, the stage they are in, and what each intent is worth. That is keyword mapping, built on volume and difficulty data from DataForSEO and Google Search Console, not on opinion.
- Content. Turning each intent into a page that answers better than the competition, written by someone who knows the subject and reviewed by a specialist.
- Engineering. Making sure Google can crawl, understand and load the site fast. That is technical SEO, measured in Core Web Vitals, index coverage and server response time.
- Semantics. Marking the site up with structured data so both search engines and language models know, without ambiguity, what is a product, a service, a company, an author and an answer.
- Authority. Earning links and mentions in real publications, which holds position on competitive terms and gives an AI model confidence when it picks a source to cite. That is our authority practice, signed by Atômico Press.
- Measurement. Tying all of it to revenue instead of screenshots of rankings. Position without conversion is expensive vanity.
An SEO agency that ships only one of those layers pushes the rest back onto your team. Netlinks ships all six, with one team and one report.
03Comparison
What a complete SEO agency delivers
Almost every SEO proposal reads the same in a PDF. The difference shows up in the delivery. Use the table below to compare any agency, Netlinks included, line by line.
| Workstream | At Netlinks | What the market usually skips |
|---|---|---|
| Initial diagnosis | Full site crawl, competitive read and an opportunity estimate per topic, presented live | An automated tool export, with no priority and no impact math |
| Keywords | A map by intent, every term with a destination page, an owner and a date | A spreadsheet of hundreds of terms that never becomes a page |
| Content | Brief, production, senior review and publishing, with your approval before it ships | Generic text at volume, without review from someone who knows the sector |
| Technical SEO | Fixes implemented by people who write code, or a spec ready for your team, tested before release | A list of recommendations that stalls in your development backlog |
| Structured data | The whole site marked up, validated in staging and monitored against breakage | One Organization schema on the homepage and nothing else |
| Authority and press | Links and stories in real outlets, with a built angle, through Atômico Press | A network of blogs with no audience, which buys risk instead of position |
| GEO and AI citations | Same contract, same plan, same report, with monitoring across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity | Treated as a conference topic, with no execution and no measurement |
| Site engineering | Our own development and cloud team, through OnWeb, when the site is the bottleneck | Handed back to your technology vendor, with nobody accountable |
| Tracking | A live App, approval per deliverable and WhatsApp with the team | A monthly PDF describing last month |
04Scope
The six workstreams running on your project
Every engagement starts with the same diagnosis and ends with a different shape. How much weight each workstream carries depends on your site, your market and your sales cycle.
Mapping and strategy
Search demand by intent, competitive read and a page plan with dates. Detailed in keyword mapping.
Content that becomes the answer
Service pages, product pages, guides and blog content written to answer the whole question, reviewed by a senior before publishing.
Technical SEO
Crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, URL architecture and redirects. The full practice is in technical SEO.
Structured data
Semantic markup across the whole site, validated and monitored. Our strongest technical edge, described in structured data.
Authority and digital PR
Manual link building and digital press work through Atômico Press, in link building agency.
GEO for AI models
Citable content, a consistent entity and citation monitoring across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. Covered in GEO: SEO for AI.
05Cadence
Month 1, month 2, month 3: what happens
Nobody hires SEO in order to wait. The first quarter ships from week one, instead of burning a month on planning with nothing live.
- Month 1
Diagnosis and stopping the bleeding
A full crawl in Screaming Frog, a read of Search Console and GA4, a keyword map by intent, and immediate fixes on whatever is keeping pages out of the index: wrong canonicals, redirect chains, a forgotten noindex, duplicate titles, orphan pages. You see work go live in month one.
- Month 2
Content, architecture and semantics
The first new pages ship, along with rewrites of pages that had impressions but no clicks, the silo and internal linking structure, and structured data markup across the site, validated before release.
- Month 3
Authority and scale
With the base in place, link acquisition and press angles start in the outlets of your sector, alongside the second batch of content. This is usually when the first AI citations appear in monitoring.
- Month 4 onward
The monthly cycle
Read the month, set the new priority, produce, get approval in the App, measure. Whatever did not move the needle leaves next month's plan.
- Quarterly
Executive review
A session with leadership: where we gained ground, where the competitor reacted, what changes in the next 90 days, and how much revenue organic already carries.
- Always on
Open channel
A WhatsApp group with the team and with Alfred, the artificial intelligence that runs our queue and answers 24 hours a day.
06GEO
An SEO agency has to play inside AI answers too
When ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity or Copilot answer a buying question, they cite sources. Being one of them is the new first position, and the path there overlaps with classic SEO almost everywhere: content that answers directly and quotably, a consistent entity across the web, unambiguous structured data, and authority that gives the model confidence.
What changes is measurement. An AI answer has no average position: it has a question, an answer, a cited source and a competitor sitting next to you. So we monitor ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity against a set of real questions from your funnel, and show in the App when your brand entered, dropped out or lost ground.
GEO belongs to the same SEO contract, with no separate plan. The full practice is in GEO: SEO for AI and the tracking in AI monitoring.

07Technical edge
Technical SEO and structured data, built by people who write code
Technical work is where most SEO projects stall, because it needs code and the agency does not write code. At Netlinks the engineering is in house: the same group maintains Next.js and WordPress sites on Google Cloud, so a fix arrives implemented and tested, or as a spec ready for your team, saying what changes, where, why and how to validate it.
Structured data is the most neglected work in the market and the one that pays best right now. It is the layer that explains to a machine what lives on the page: a product with price and stock, a service with a coverage area, a company with an address, an article with an author, a question with an answer. Search engines and language models both lean on it to be sure of what they state.
In our SP Labor case, the technical audit closed in August 2026 took errors from 753 to 326 pages, warnings from 2,803 to 1,020, the sitemap from 383 to 20 files, and compressed 6,433 images from 4.0 GB to 1.4 GB. Homepage PageSpeed landed at 97 on mobile and 99 on desktop.
- Crawling, indexing, canonicals, hreflang, pagination and redirects
- Core Web Vitals and response time measured in the field, not only in the lab
- Organization, Service, Product, Article, FAQ, Breadcrumb and LocalBusiness markup
- An alert when a site update breaks the markup or drags speed down

08Coverage
One agency, three languages, four countries
Netlinks is headquartered in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, with structure in London, Santiago and Panama City. Delivery runs in English, Portuguese and Spanish, with the same method and the same standard, and meetings follow your time zone rather than ours.
For companies selling into the United States, Europe or Latin America, that combination matters more than it sounds. Expanding well takes one URL per language, correct hreflang, content written by someone who understands the destination market, and authority earned in outlets from that country. Translating a page puts nobody at the top of a new market.
- United States and Canada. English-language SEO and GEO, with local citations, review strategy and press coverage. See international SEO.
- Brazil. Our home market since 2017, with senior presence in Belo Horizonte and São Paulo and remote delivery nationwide.
- Spanish-speaking Latin America and Spain. Neutral Spanish content and authority built market by market.
The Leo's Marble & Granite case, a countertop company in Leominster, Massachusetts, shows the path in English from zero: 46 ranked keywords at diagnosis, 118 by September, first place on brand terms and top 20 entries for competitive local terms.
09Technology
What you track in the App, 24 hours a day
Netlinks is a service, and the technology exists so you never depend on a meeting to know where the project stands. Every client gets access to the Netlinks App, where data refreshes on its own and the delivery queue is visible.
That changes the conversation with leadership. Instead of debating whether the agency is working, the meeting turns to what to do with the ground already gained.
The full picture of our stack is in technology, and the method that organizes the work in the Response Marketing Method.
- Rankings by keyword, with the change since day one of the contract
- Organic traffic and conversions, connected to Search Console and GA4
- AI citations: which models mention your brand, and for which questions
- PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals, crawl errors and broken schema
- Delivery queue: in production, waiting for approval, already shipped
- WhatsApp support with Alfred and the human team in the same thread

10Decision
How to choose an SEO agency without regretting it
SEO is a medium-term commitment, and switching vendors halfway costs a fortune in lost time. These are the questions that separate an agency that delivers from one that presents:
- Who will work on my account, and what have they actually run? Ask for names and track records. At Netlinks, Digo Garcia, André Mousinho and Gabriel Raposo own the process and the team management on every project.
- Do technical fixes arrive implemented, or as recommendations? If nobody writes code, that improvement list will age quietly in your developer's backlog.
- How do you build links? Ask which outlets. A network of blogs with no audience buys penalty risk, not authority.
- Is structured data in scope? This question eliminates the most candidates, because it takes engineering and almost nobody ships beyond the homepage.
- How do I watch the work happen? A monthly PDF describes the past. A live dashboard shows the present.
- How do AI models enter the plan? If the answer is a talk about the future with no list of monitored questions, GEO is not really in the contract.
- What is the timeline, and based on what? A serious estimate comes with search volume, difficulty and estimated click-through on the table. Technical fixes and long-tail pages usually move rankings in 30 to 60 days; head terms in a competitive market are quarterly work.
We answer every one of those in the first conversation, with no commitment, with your site open on the screen.
11The deliverable
What you receive
Finished work, approved by you in the App and shipped. Not a report that only describes the problem.
Executive diagnosis
The technical and competitive picture of your site, an opportunity estimate per topic and the order of attack. Presented live to your team.
Keyword map
Terms grouped by intent and destination page, with volume, difficulty and who ranks today. It becomes the backlog for the year.
Published pages and content
Production followed from brief to live page, with senior review and your approval before anything ships.
Technical fixes applied
Implemented by people who write code, or delivered as a spec your team can ship, tested before it reaches production.
Links and coverage in real outlets
Authority acquisition with an angle built by Atômico Press, and a report on every placement earned.
Live reporting in the App
Rankings, traffic, AI citations, speed and the delivery queue, 24 hours a day, with no month-end wait.
12How it works
From the audit to the page going live
The same path on every project, with an owner and a date on each step.
- 01
Diagnostic conversation
One meeting to understand the business, the sales cycle, margin by product and what has already been tried. No commitment.
- 02
Audit and mapping
Full crawl, competitive read and a keyword map by intent. Two to three weeks.
- 03
Impact-ranked plan
Every workstream gets an estimated gain and effort. The order comes from that ratio, with a date and an owner.
- 04
Six workstreams in production
Content, technical, structured data, authority and GEO all move, with senior review on every piece.
- 05
Approval in the App
You approve each deliverable before it goes live and keep the full history of what was done.
- 06
Measure and correct course
The plan is adjusted monthly against real data. Every quarter leadership gets the executive read.
13Who leads
Who leads your project
The three of them own the process and manage the team on every account. No senior who shows up at kickoff and disappears: they sign off on the plan, review the work and talk to your team.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does an SEO agency cost?
It depends on the size of the site, how competitive the sector is, and how much execution stays with Netlinks. A local project with a handful of pages is a different scope from an e-commerce site with tens of thousands of SKUs in three languages. The initial diagnosis carries no commitment, and pricing comes with the plan so you can weigh investment against estimated opportunity.
What is the difference between an SEO agency and SEO consulting?
Consulting owns the decision: what to do, in what order and how to measure it, with your team executing. An agency also owns execution, at volume and on a deadline. At Netlinks both come together, with a senior specialist leading and the team producing. The consulting format is in SEO consulting.
How long before SEO produces results?
Technical fixes and new long-tail pages usually move rankings in 30 to 60 days. Head terms in competitive markets are quarterly work. The estimate comes out of the diagnosis, with volume, difficulty and estimated click-through on the table, because a badly set expectation is what kills SEO projects in month four.
Does the SEO agency work alongside my in-house team?
Yes, and it is one of the most common setups. Netlinks brings what an in-house team rarely has time to sustain: structured data, deep technical SEO, authority and AI monitoring. Priorities are agreed together and the queue is visible to everyone in the App.
Do I need to rebuild my website first?
Almost never. We work on the site you have, whether that is WordPress, Shopify, VTEX, Next.js or something custom. When the site really is the bottleneck, the diagnosis says so with the number that justifies rebuilding, and our engineering practice takes it, through OnWeb.
Do you work with e-commerce?
We do. Stores need category and filter architecture without cannibalization, Product markup with price and availability, thin-page control and speed on listing pages. Our SP Labor case is a WooCommerce store migrated to Google Cloud with a full technical audit.
Does the SEO agency cover AI models like ChatGPT and Gemini?
It does, inside the same contract. Citable content, a consistent entity, structured data and citation monitoring across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity sit in the same plan and the same report. See GEO: SEO for AI.
How do I track what the agency is doing?
In the Netlinks App, 24 hours a day: rankings, traffic, AI citations, technical health and the delivery queue, with approval piece by piece. There is also a WhatsApp group with the team and with Alfred, our AI support layer.
Do you work with companies outside Brazil?
Yes. We operate in English, Portuguese and Spanish, with structure in Belo Horizonte, London, Santiago and Panama City. An international project needs one URL per language, correct hreflang, content written by someone who knows the destination market, and authority in outlets from that country. The design is in international SEO.
What does Netlinks do that a typical SEO agency does not?
Three things in practice: structured data across the whole site with validation and monitoring, in-house engineering that implements the fix instead of recommending it, and GEO measured with real questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. Add the team's track record, built running SEO at Letras.mus.br, Méliuz, Globo.com, Rock Content and LWSA, and running, for Netlinks, the authority programs for BTG Pactual and Agibank.
